As a Junior Triage Consultant, you'll play a critical frontline role—offering immediate assistance, guidance, and referrals to individuals navigating personal, family, or work/life challenges.
In this highly impactful position, you'll use your clinical training and compassionate approach to assess needs, de-escalate crises, and provide non-medical counseling resources. What You'll Do:
- Serve as a trusted first point of contact for Service members and their families, offering professional assessments and tailored referrals for Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Work/Life support services.
- Resolve caller concerns on the first call whenever possible, while documenting cases clearly and efficiently in the Case Management System (CMS).
- Handle high-risk or crisis situations with care and adherence to established protocols, demonstrating exceptional empathy, de-escalation skills, and resourcefulness.
- Educate callers on available resources and programs, promote usage, and demonstrate fluency in military culture and protocols.
- Maintain follow-up with participants when appropriate to ensure their needs are fully addressed and resolved.
- Collaborate with internal teams and complete required compliance training and certifications (e.g., Cyber Awareness, HIPAA, PII).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related human services field.
- 1–2 years of post-graduate experience in mental health, counseling, or social work.
