Titles: Talent Acquisition Specialist & Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Chicago, IL

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist or Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist at AnthroMed, you'll focus on expanding our team of speech-language pathologists, social workers, and occupational therapists. Whether you're in a more entry-level or senior role, you will be integral in connecting compassionate professionals with schools and students who need them most. Below are the key responsibilities for both positions:

Responsibilities:

For the Talent Acquisition Specialist:

  • Attract Compassionate Talent: Use various channels—job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and outreach emails—to attract candidates passionate about making a difference in special education and therapy.
  • Candidate Engagement: Be the first point of contact for applicants, guiding them through the application process for speech-language pathology, social work, and occupational therapy roles.
  • Facilitate Hiring: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from outreach to job offers, ensuring candidates align with our schools' needs.
  • Build Relationships: Collaborate with your leadership team to foster meaningful partnerships with schools and ensure clinician satisfaction.
  • Smooth Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have all documentation in place, including state licensure and background checks.

For the Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist:

  • Lead Talent Hiring & Onboarding: Take charge of shaping and executing recruitment strategies for high-priority roles. Provide mentorship to junior team members and assist in developing recruitment processes.
  • Advanced Candidate Sourcing: Leverage advanced sourcing tools and build a network of top talent in speech-language pathology, social work, and occupational therapy.
  • Hiring Process Optimization: Work closely with leadership to enhance and streamline the hiring process, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Key Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with school partners and other key stakeholders to ensure our clinicians' needs are met.
  • Recruitment Metrics: Lead the tracking and reporting of recruitment metrics to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of hiring efforts.
  • University Relationships: Build relationships with Universities for AnthroMed's Clinical Fellowship Program and new-graduate Social Worker hiring initiatives.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference and committed to helping our team grow. Below are the qualifications for both roles. A sharp minded, focused, well-spoken individual with an eye for detail and 1-2 years of experience in a professional recruiting, sales, or customer service environment.

Alternatively, we are also willing to interview with trained Clinicians (SLPs, Social Workers, OTs, and/or former Special Educators who are interested in expanding the scope of their responsibilities with our team.

For Talent Acquisition Specialist:

  • 1-2 years of experience in recruiting, sales, or customer service, or experience as a trained SLP, Social Worker, or OT.
  • Strong communication skills with an eye for detail.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and creativity in attracting new talent.
  • Passion for special education or therapy services for children.
  • Ability to adapt to different challenges and workloads.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

For Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist:

  • 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, ideally within the education or healthcare space, and/or experience as a trained SLP, Social Worker, or OT.
  • Proven ability to source, recruit, and retain top-tier talent for high-demand roles.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience mentoring and guiding junior team members.
  • Analytical mindset, with experience tracking and improving recruitment metrics.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of school and therapy staffing needs.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced certifications in talent acquisition or HR are a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $42,500 to $57,500.00 per year (for Talent Acquisition Specialist) and $49,937.50 to $67,562.00 per year (for Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist)
  • Variable Compensation: Potential to earn up to 100% of your base salary in equivalent commissions and bonuses.
  • We have a strong track record of team members making 40-50% of their total compensation in commissions and bonuses each year.
