Lowery Property Advisors (LPA) is a privately held commercial real estate valuation firm headquartered in Irving, Texas, with offices in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Georgia. We specialize in valuation, appraisal, market research, feasibility, property tax consulting, right-of-way and eminent domain appraisals, litigation support, and expert witness testimony. Our clients range from local to international lenders, investors, government agencies (including TxDOT), tax and law firms, and owner-users. LPA handles diverse property types, including retail, office, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, healthcare, special-use, mixed-use, development land, and going concern valuations.

Position

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Research Analyst to join our team and support the delivery of accurate, insightful market intelligence. In this role, you will help collect, organize, and interpret commercial real estate data across property types and regions. Responsibilities include maintaining internal databases, verifying market comparables, and contributing to research tools and reports. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with data, has an interest in real estate market trends, and can interpret information to support clear, useful insights. Success in this role requires attention to detail, critical thinking, and a proactive approach to learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong interest in commercial real estate markets and property data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); skilled in Internet research.
  • Experience with analytical and presentation tools; familiarity with PowerBI or Tableau is a plus.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and organizing information clearly.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and summarize real estate market data.
  • Familiarity with commercial property types such as retail, office, industrial, and land is helpful.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Prior research analyst experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
