In the role as the Manager, Live Event Ticket Operations, you will help our team bring the next round of stories to life on the United Center campus.

The Manager, Live Event Ticket Operations is responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely setup of all ticketed events, managing both the technical build process and the team executing it. This role ensures seamless coordination between Ticketmaster, promoters, and internal stakeholders to support successful event operations from creation to show day.
What you'll do:
- Supervise and support the event programming team, assigning builds based on skill, workload, and timelines. Provide training, mentorship, and performance management.
- Oversee the end-to-end event build process using Ticketmaster platforms ensuring accuracy in pricing, fees, inventory, and event details.
- Review and approve event builds; conduct peer audits to maintain quality and ensure consistency across all events.
- Manage ticket inventory, including placing/adjusting holds, executing dynamic pricing changes, and implementing real-time event updates.
- Create and maintain venue maps and configurations; build ancillary events such as parking, VIP packages, and upsells.
- Act as primary liaison with promoters, Ticketmaster, and internal departments, ensuring all event information is communicated clearly and promptly.
- Monitor all presales and on-sales, including internal and fan club offers; fulfill promoter ticket requests and address ticketing issues as they arise.
- Support event days by verifying seat configurations, sightlines, and production layouts, ensuring accuracy and a positive guest experience.
- Run event reports (audit, comp, consignment, etc.), maintain documentation per venue policy, and identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve processes.
What you'll need:
- This is a Union position, and requires you to join the Ticket Sellers Local 750, if not already a member.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and 4+ years of box office/ticketing experience, including staff management.
- Proven experience with the full Ticketmaster product suite.
- Advanced knowledge of Archtics strongly .
- Experience managing multiple venues simultaneously is a plus.
The pay range for this role is $95,000-97,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, annuity, paid time off and commuter benefits.
