As a Relief Counselor, you will gain experience and play a crucial role in supporting individuals facing mental health challenges by helping them live independently and beyond their perceived limitations.

Adult Community Clinical Services is a Department of Mental Health funded service designed to deliver evidence-based interventions within a clinically focused model. The individuals served are diagnosed with mental illness or dual diagnosis and reside in their own homes, apartments, or group living environments. Our services focus on helping people transition to more independent environments while maximizing natural supports by building skills and achieving personal goals. Our teams are tight-knit, supportive, and multidisciplinary, including clinicians, substance use counselors, nurses, peer staff, housing counselors, outreach counselors, and direct care staff who provide quality, compassionate care.

Relief Counselors significantly contribute to our mission to enhance well-being by providing direct support, ensuring daily needs are met, and maintaining a safe yet inspiring atmosphere.

Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing individualized, person-centered treatment plans and lead the implementation of daily plans.
  • Assist individuals with accessing transportation or provide transportation services.
  • Implement activities that foster valued roles and personal relationships within the community.
  • Review and complete all required documentation accurately and timely.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record required.
  • Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities required.
