Our focus is on supporting veterans through qualified, compliant, and compassionate care providers who are committed to improving the lives of those who have served. *Duties and Responsibilities* * Deliver full-spectrum emergency care to veterans in a hospital-based ED * Provide evaluations, treatment, coordination of care, and disposition planning * Maintain accurate documentation in VA's electronic medical record (EMR) system * Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes * Follow ACEP guidelines and VA protocols for emergency services *Qualifications* * Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution * *Board Certified or Board Eligible* in Emergency Medicine * Active, unrestricted *medical license in any U.S. state* * Active *BLS and ACLS certifications* * U.S. Citizenship (required for VA credentialing) * Experience working with veteran populations or federal healthcare preferred *Benefits of Working with Veterans Engineering* * Competitive compensation * Long-term contract stability (Base + 4 Option Years) * Opportunity to serve and support the veteran community * Credentialing support and onboarding assistance
