Key Responsibilities:
System Design and Engineering
Design, develop, and engineer customized industrial refrigeration and heat pump systems during the project proposal phase.
Select and integrate components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, valves, and controls into efficient system designs.
Develop accurate, detailed proposal documentation that is both technically sound and commercially viable.
Client Consultation and Support
Act as a primary technical advisor to clients, providing expert recommendations on system design, operation, and troubleshooting.
Respond to client needs, inquiries, and concerns professionally and promptly.
Regulatory Compliance and Standards
Ensure that all systems comply with industry standards, safety protocols, and relevant codes, including environmental and energy efficiency guidelines.
Stay updated on advancements and regulatory shifts within the industrial refrigeration sector.
Documentation and Reporting
Create comprehensive technical documentation, including system specifications, schematics, calculations, and project reports.
Maintain detailed records of project activities, findings, and technical recommendations.
Training and Knowledge Sharing
Provide technical training to internal teams, clients, and stakeholders on refrigeration principles, best practices, and maintenance.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the organization.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years in industrial refrigeration and heat pump system design, engineering and application.
The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $91,738.00 - $156,000 per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.
The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
