Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $19.50 per hour
Wage Increases:
- Year 2 - $20.00
- Year 3 - $20.50
- Year 4 - $20.50
- Year 5 - $21.50
Duties and Responsibilities: You will work collaboratively with your teammates and communicate effectively with your leader while ensuring the security and confidentiality of sensitive documents and data. Your specific responsibilities will include:
Cashier Responsibilities: - Efficiently processes customer purchases and performs general cleaning duties.
- Stocks shelves and merchandise displays to maintain a neat store layout.
- Delivers exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
- Provides valuable feedback to management regarding products and inventory.
- Participates in inventory counts and ensures inventory accuracy.
- Adheres to cash handling policies and procedures.
Stocker Responsibilities: - Stocks shelves and rotates products to guarantee freshness.
- Implements merchandising planograms for attractive displays.
- Organizes incoming inventory and manages empty packaging.
- Operates machinery while following safety protocols.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store.
- Stockers must lift products weighing up to 45 pounds and stock items at varying heights.
Qualifications:
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- Strong ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Ability to perform general cleaning duties according to company standards.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Effective time management skills.
- Basic knowledge of company products and services.
- Cashier role requires efficiency in operating a cash register and compliance with state alcohol selling requirements.
- Stocker role requires safe operation of equipment, including hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous retail experience is advantageous.
- A combination of education and experience demonstrating relevant knowledge is acceptable.
