Job Type Full-timeDescriptionOne Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Install Quality Assurance & Permit Coordinator to join our innovative Outer Banks team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all residential installation projects are properly permitted, inspected, and compliant with local regulations. You will serve as a liaison between homeowners, contractors, and municipal inspectors to ensure timely inspections and accurate documentation.Key Responsibilities:
- Permit Application Management:
- Process and submit permit applications promptly after a job is sold.
- Ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate for each project.
- Inspection Scheduling:
- Schedule permit inspections with the appropriate parties, including contractors, homeowners, and municipal building inspectors.
- Ensure inspections are completed and finalized with the municipality within 10 days of job completion.
- Communication & Reporting:
- Immediately report finalized inspections and any outstanding issues that require follow-up or additional repairs to the Installation and Operations Managers for preparation of reinspections.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with relevant stakeholders regarding inspection status.
- Documentation & Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspection results.
Requirements
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and follow-through
- Proficient in using computers and software for documentation and scheduling
- Ability to conduct site inspections and ensure compliance
- Previous experience with permit applications or construction/installation processes is a plus
- Relevant certifications or training in HVAC are preferred
