- When You'd Work: We offer flexible weekday shifts within our business hours (Mon/Wed/Fri: 8-6, Tues/Thurs: 8-5). Saturday availability is required on a rotating basis-our Saturday hours are 8-1.
What You'll Do:
- Greet clients and their pets with friendliness and professionalism
- Answer phones, schedule and confirm appointments
- Prepare estimates, invoices, and process payments
- Maintain an organized, stocked, and welcoming lobby area
- Support pet owners with compassion during emotional moments
- Educate clients on wellness plans, food, and retail products
- Handle data entry, referral records, and client forms
- Perform opening/closing procedures and end-of-day deposits
- Triage incoming calls and visits to prioritize patient needs
- Ensure accurate patient admissions and up-to-date information
What You'll Need:
- 1-3 years of experience in a veterinary or human medical front desk role (preferred)
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, email, etc.)
- Comfort with office equipment (fax, credit card terminal, copier)
- Basic math skills for handling payments and deposits
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and communication practices
- Clear, calm communication and empathy in high-stress situations
- Great time management and multitasking skills
- Positive, team-first attitude-and a love for pets, of course!
