TITLE: Program Manager - Cleveland Central Promise NeighborhoodPOSITION SUMMARY:Cleveland Central Promise Neighborhood is recruiting for a Program Manager who will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive programming with community partners, selecting and collaborating with provider partners who serve community partners, and advancing effective strategies, policies, and projects that support the Sisters of Charity Health System (SCHS) and the Cleveland Central Promise Neighborhood. This position will support productive engagement with Central residents and service provider partners; implement, check, and manage community enhancing metrics that encourage educational excellence and overall community advancement; and implement innovative techniques and strategies for the benefit of SCHS, partners, and the neighborhood. Trust building outreach/activities, compassionate service, and a team-focused skillset are all important aspects of the Program Manager role.POSITION STATUS: Full Time PositionACCOUNTABILITY: This position will report directly to the Promise Program Director.RESPONSIBILITIES:Program Development
  • Translate strategic frameworks into scalable delivery plans in collaboration with the Promise team, SCHS staff, and partners.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and leadership development among service partners, community partners, and residents.
  • Manage programming with diverse service providers, deliverables, and timetables for deliverables.
  • Monitor the collection of programmatic data. Conduct analysis regularly, updating leadership as needed.
  • Work with the Promise team and Fund Development to identify appropriate grant funding opportunities and prepare content as needed.
  • Assist Promise team outreach efforts. Support efforts to create pathways for resident voice, participation, and leadership in a variety of venues including within Central, partner organizations, the Promise Initiative, private and governmental systems.
  • Represent Promise externally and ensure that its programs and services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders, service providers, and the general community.
  • Participate in community engagement events as needed.
Project Management
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, workplans, and deliverables across multiple programs, multi-year initiatives.
  • Develop budgets and ensure that programs work within budgets and timelines, in compliance with guidelines and policies.
  • Develop, track, and report project milestones, budgets, outcomes, and deliverables.
  • Review and process invoice documentation, in accordance with agreements.
  • Coordinate with partners and internal staff.
  • Monitor project and program progress and proactively address barriers to ensure that time and budget goals are achieved.
  • Organize and lead regular status meetings, implementation meetings, and collaboration meetings with partners and team members (when needed).
  • Ensure transparent, professional, and equity-aligned communications with all partners, stakeholders, and team members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to understand the Mission & Ministry of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine and embrace its mission and values.
  • Strong passion and commitment to the mission of working with the underserved.
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of five years of project management, program development/management, or community organizing.
  • A minimum of 2 years of community engagement project
  • A minimum of 2 years sourcing, writing, and managing grants
  • Bi-lingual preferred
  • Hands-on experience in non-profit community advocacy, ideally in positively impacting the social determinants of health.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects and/or programs in diverse communities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to prepare internal reports and articles for external audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills, including quantitative assessments and logical, systemic thinking.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, identify trends, and discuss a variety of data/information.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint), Adobe and desktop publishing software programs.
  • High standards and integrity.
