A Day In The Life

We are committed to providing preventative and restorative care to all residents and clients here at Rockingham County. We want our residents to feel safe, comfortable, and supported in all aspects of their lives to include not only physical, but also emotional, social, spiritual, environmental, and intellectual well-being. The Admissions Specialist coordinates the admissions process of residents/clients for the Rockingham County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. This position engages with outside insurance financial, legal, and medical professionals, organizations, assisted living facilities, hospital discharge planners, and others, and maintains a waiting list for applicants.

Required Education And Experience

The following are required for the position:

• Associate degree in a related field;
• One (1) year of related experience.
• Previous training in Long-Term Care required.
• An equivalent combination of education, work and experience will be considered.
• A clinical background is preferred.
