Senior Linux Automation System Administrator Onsite Location: Aurora, CO Required: TS/SCI w/ Poly W2 hourly Contract to Hire Only Pay: $65.00 to $89.00/hr. D.O.E. Based on the benefits chosen ***No C2C, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors, and we can NOT do 1099-US TS/SCI w/ Poly CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED*** Geologics is seeking a Senior Linux Automation System Administrator with an active TS/SCI w. Poly Clearance REQUIRED * Active TS/SCI w/Poly Clearance is required on day one. * Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or a master's degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.* An active cyber security certification, qualified for DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 on start date. IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND.* Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) based systems* Using and developing automation tools/frameworks such as Ansible, as well as scripting, primarily Bash and PythonSKILLS PREFERRED * Deployment and administration of systems, storage, and networking in virtualized environments using VMware vCenter* Experience managing network devices* Experience administering Windows based systems* Experience with pipeline tools such as Jenkins and Artifactory* Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with efficiency What You Will Do * Building, maintaining, and securing Information Technology systems and directly supporting customer mission-critical capabilities using industry standard automation tools.* Work closely with program developers and system engineers to research issues, determine root causes and implement solutions to system problems.* Must be able to support occasional after hour maintenance and on-call support and must be able to lift up to 35 pounds in support of hardware installations.* Occasional travel may be required for installation support.* This position is an onsite role.Please respond to Meredith Baldwin with your interest level, recent copy of your resume and your availability for a call to *Rates listed are not a guarantee of salary/rate.
