Under the supervision of skilled machine operators, the Apprentice will learn all aspects of fastener manufacturing as it relates to drilling. Apprentices will learn to set-up and operate machines safely, check and record quality, maintain a clean and organized work area, and support the team as required.Description:
- Participate and learn during hands-on training of the Apprenticeship Program
- Learn machine set up procedures from an assigned mentor
- Check and record quality per department procedures
- Keep machines and work area clean
- Follow all procedures and work instructions
- Maintain good production numbers, low scrap, and high pieces/pounds
Qualifications:
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Familiarity with tools
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read blueprints for parts
- Basic Math Skills
