Position Summary: Responsible for packing product into cases according to specifications and ensuring product quality and packaging standards are met. This role plays a key part in maintaining a smooth production flow and supporting food safety, quality, and sanitation protocols. Key Responsibilities:
- Pack product into boxes or cartons according to company specifications and standards.
- Perform quality checks for product appearance, code dates, and proper packaging.
- Assemble and label boxes, ensuring accurate counts and correct case configuration.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety and sanitation policies.
- Remove defective product and report issues to the line lead or supervisor.
- Assist in changeovers by cleaning equipment and preparing materials.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety rules, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Support continuous improvement and communicate with team members to maintain production flow.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior food manufacturing or packing experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Must be flexible to work varying shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
