Job Description & Requirements**Job Title: Corrections • Registered Nurse • Nights**Join our team as a Corrections RN for night shifts in Texas, providing vital healthcare in a correctional facility.**Responsibilities:**• Deliver nursing care to incarcerated individuals.• Administer medications and treatments.• Monitor health and maintain accurate records.• Collaborate with healthcare staff for quality care.• Manage multiple priorities in a fast•paced setting.**Schedule:**• Night shifts: 1845•0715• 36/48•hour weekly rotation• Saturday – Friday work week• Overtime opportunities available**Requirements:**• Active Compact or Texas RN license• BLS and ACLS certifications• 2+ years RN experience, 1+ year in Acute Care or Med Surg• Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, or Psych preferred• Ability to work independently in challenging environments**Additional Information:**• Must float to units within a 10•30 minute radius• COVID•19 vaccination required, exemptions consideredThis role offers ongoing employment with extension potential.
