Overview:
We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to oversee and enforce safety procedures on construction sites. The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree in Safety and have experience ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations. The role involves risk assessments, training, incident investigations, and maintaining a culture of safety across multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Develop, implement, and update safety policies and training programs.
- Investigate accidents, document incidents, and implement corrective actions.
- Lead safety meetings and promote a proactive safety culture.
- Ensure OSHA compliance and stay updated on safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field.
- 3+ years of safety experience in construction or similar industries.
- OSHA 30-hour certification required; additional safety certifications a plus.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
