This role offers a strong opportunity for an experienced facilities professional to support a multi-building campus on Manhattan's Upper West Side. The Assistant Director of Facilities will oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and well-maintained spaces for educational, administrative, and performance use.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day building maintenance across multiple facilities (148,440 sq. ft.).
- Supervise maintenance and cleaning staff, ensuring high service standards.
- Use CMMS to track and complete work orders within 24 hours.
- Manage HVAC and BMMS systems for comfort and energy efficiency.
- Coordinate NYC DOB and FD inspections, fire safety testing, and compliance.
- Oversee space setup for meetings and events.
- Maintain supply inventory and vendor relationships for specialized services.
- Monitor budgets and payroll, managing overtime and scheduling.
- Participate in after-hours on-call support as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–8 years' experience in facilities management.
- Team leadership experience (up to 20 staff).
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
- NYC S-98 Certificate (or obtainable within 60 days).
- Spanish language and associate's degree are a plus.

Salary & Benefits:
- $95,000–$105,000, based on experience
