Test Technician

Move Forward with Volt Volt is immediately hiring for a Test Technician in McKinney, TX. In this role, you can directly impact the world around you and contribute to classified programs and technologies you are passionate about. Our small agile teams adapt to evolving customer and warfighter needs. This is a 12 Month full time contract or contract to hire opportunity. Active Secret Clearance

What You Will Do:

  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome technical challenges.
  • Fault-isolate problems and assisting in the resolution of issues between the test environment (test station, interface adapter, test cables, etc.) and the devices under test.
  • Experience in observing, analyzing, and reporting test data.
  • Select and set up appropriate test equipment based on test specifications.
  • Interpretation of test data (plots, graphs, tabulated parameters, etc.) to choose pass/fail condition and resolve when further analysis is needed.
  • Basic use of hand tools, torque tools and analyzers, and power tools

This will be an onsite role working the 2nd shift. 2pm to 11pm

Qualifications Must Have:

  • Experience working in a classified or proprietary program environment is preferred
  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience
  • Experience with VM, CMES, SAP, or other manufacturing automation databases and tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft excel, MATLAB, programming, drive share mapping, and basic computer programs.
  • Experience in performing product tests by utilizing procedures, manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, verbal instructions, and other related documentation under limited supervision.

Pay Rate: Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
