Nuclear Medicine Technologist (New Grads Accepted) – Ashland, WI

Position Type: Full-TimeSalary: $36/hr to $42/hrRetention Incentive: $25,000

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and care. This role supports patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine scans and administer radiopharmaceuticals under physician supervision.
• Ensure radiation safety and compliance with NRC, JCAHO, and Wisconsin state standards.
• Operate imaging equipment, position patients, and archive studies in PACS.
• Maintain accurate records of radiation safety protocols and quality control.
• Assist in developing and updating departmental protocols and training staff.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support patient care.

Shift Details

• Standard 8-hour shifts
• Flexible options available (e.g., four 9-hour shifts)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine program
• NMTCB or ARRT(N) certified or eligible
• Strong communication skills in English
