As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to move materials around the job site. Your main goal will be to ensure that materials are moved safely and efficiently, while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within the company. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Experience operating heavy machinery, including loaders
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the Mining/Construction industry
- Certification in heavy equipment operation
- Experience with GPS and other advanced technology for heavy machinery
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy machinery, including loaders, to move materials around the job site
- Ensure that materials are moved safely and efficiently, while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure that it is in good working order
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and work on feet for extended periods (8-12 hours/day).
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, climbing, and kneeling.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
- Capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Must be able to hear instructions and warnings in a noisy environment.
Skills: As a Loader Operator, you will use your skills in heavy machinery operation, attention to detail, and ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics on a daily basis. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. Additionally, experience in the Construction industry and certification in heavy equipment operation are beneficial skills that will help you succeed in this role.
