Job Description :
The Manufacturing Engineer will drive measurable improvements in departmental performance through the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes, equipment, and continuous improvement initiatives. Process & Equipment Development Lead the design, development, and implementation of new manufacturing processes and capital equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency. Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other advanced manufacturing methodologies to optimize operations. Promote and implement EHS initiatives, including MESH and ISO14001 compliance. Identify and address unsafe conditions and drive corrective actions. Communication & Reporting Maintain regular communication with management on project progress, risks, and resource needs. Document and analyze test results for new or modified products and processes. Provide technical direction and leadership for engineering projects, including in-house and subcontracted process development. Solve complex technical challenges involving multiple engineering disciplines. Evaluate and present technical proposals, including feasibility studies, cost estimates, and design concepts. Project & Program Management Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams in the execution of R&D and manufacturing initiatives. Manage project timelines, risks, costs, and scope changes in collaboration with supervisors and stakeholders. Ensure successful industrialization of new processes and technologies. Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC machining Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution Capital planning and cost out experience Experience working in a union environment Must be highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite programs, particularly Excel and Access, and statistical measurement tools Knowledge of CAD programs (Pro-E, Solid Works Mastercam or Auto-CAD) Basic programming software skills (ex. Lab View) Expertise in CNC Machining and Programming Excellent oral and written communication skills
