Human Resources Director job at Sharp Sterile Manufacturing. Lee, MA.
The Director, Human Resources is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategies that support the overall business plan and strategic director of Sharp Sterile. This includes oversight of benefits and compensation, talent acquisition, organizational development, compliance, employee relations, payroll, and HR systems.
- Function as the HR Business Partner to the President of Sharp Sterile and the local site leadership team.
- Lead and manage all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, benefits and compensation, and compliance.
- Assist with the development, implementation, communication and interpretation of HR strategies aligned with Sharps goals, culture including Company policies, practices and procedures.
- Influence the work environment and be a change agent in ensuring an optimal culture is achieved to enable our teams to perform at their best while ensuring alignment and delivery on customer expectations.
- Proactively manage and improve employee relations in a manner that is consistent with Company policies and regulations including but not limited to: conducting investigations, counseling and coaching management and employees, coordinating and guiding progressive corrective disciplinary action, recommending and implementing actions as appropriate and ensuring proper documentation and evidence are collected.
- Mediate complex employee relations issues and manage conflict resolution across the organization.
- Oversee HR systems and data analytics to analyze trends in turnover, hiring, promotions, complaints, separations and the like to determine support or action required.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure recruiting and hiring process is consistent with business strategy for all phases of full life cycle recruiting.
- Partner with site leadership and departmental managers to support organizational effectiveness, change management, and succession planning.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive, inclusive and high-performance work environment.
- Educate and coach management and staff on performance review and goal-setting processes and ensure adoption.
Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive HR experience, with at least four (4) years in a leadership role within a manufacturing or contract services business.
Experience working in sterile manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry is strongly preferred.
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field is required.
Masters or MBA is preferred.
