The Waste to Energy (WTE) Technical Advisor supports the WTE Practice Leader in developing resources and skilled staff for WTE projects, aligning with business strategies and collaborating with the Waste Market Sector leadership and other technical leaders. The role involves communication across regions, supporting WTE projects, clients, and staff, and may also include consulting on natural gas fired power plants.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in developing and implementing best practices for service delivery.
  • Expanding industry relationships with WTE technical staff and clients.
  • Supporting development of project experience qualifications and marketing materials.
  • Organizing health and safety training for WTE practitioners.
  • Supporting project pursuits, including client relationships, scope of work, budgets, and contracts.
  • Performing quality control reviews and providing technical advice.
  • Conducting research and market analysis on WTE and waste conversion trends.
  • Leading billable work on WTE projects.
  • Participating as Project Manager or Principal on project teams.
  • Performing additional duties to support market sectors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to travel.
  • Flexibility and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • MS in Engineering or related sciences.
  • Experience with business development activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 10 years of related experience.
  • At least 5 years of project management experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, estimating, scheduling, and project management software.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and team interaction skills.
