Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting for Sygnity Wellness.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide timely and accurate financial information to management.
  • Manage the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop annual budgets and monitor performance against budgeted targets.
  • Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
  • Monitor cash flow and liquidity, manage banking relationships, and optimize cash management strategies to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet operational needs.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
  • Coordinate annual audits and tax filings, working closely with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Learn and be proficient in our EMR system.
  • Provide financial leadership and guidance to the management team, offering insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems, with advanced skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.

  • Must be able to clear a Level 2 background check.
