Our world class Global Manufacturing Training program provides paid hands-on experiences and classroom instruction in order to prepare you for your next promotion Duties include, but are not limited to: Instrumentation:Troubleshoot, configure, maintain:PLC systemsSingle loop controls for various field systemsInstillation, calibration, troubleshooting various manufactures of analog and SMART instruments and analytical equipmentShop and field repair of final control elements such as pneumatic valves, electric valves, solenoid operated valves, calibration of pneumatic and SMART valve positionersRoutine and regulatory calibration of field instruments for boilers and environmental systemsTroubleshoot, maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systemsRead and redline loop sheets, P&IDsRead and interpret wiring diagrams & electrical schematicsUnderstand and follow NFPA70E regulations involving Arc Flash and Shock hazardsCalibration and maintaining control instrumentationOther duties as assignedElectrician:Troubleshoot, install, repair AC and DC drive systems as well as stand-alone process drives of various manufacturersTroubleshoot, install, maintain various electrical components such as mechanical limit, proximity, photoelectric, speed and reflective switchesReading and interpreting electrical schematicsPerform repairs and preventive maintenance on 480v thru 13.8kv power distribution switchgearUnderstand and follow NFPA70E regulations involving Arc Flash and Shock hazardsOther duties as assignedThe Skills You Will Bring:Critical Thinking - Analyze and use logic to address issuesTeam Player - Collaborate and work cooperatively across a multifunctional teamDependability - Being reliable, responsible, and dependableSelf-Motivation - Exerting effort towards training to move up to next position and accepting feedback to make improvements or take corrective actionThe Benefits You Will Enjoy:International Paper offers a benefits package that includes health, welfare and retirement plans including Medical, Dental, Life insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts Disability Plan, 401(k) and/or Pension (where applicable), Paid Time Off, Education & Development (including Tuition Reimbursement), and Voluntary Benefits including insurance for home, auto, vision and pets.
