Due to internal promotions, we're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead heavy highway and civil construction projects from start to finish.
What You'll Do:
As Project Manager, you'll oversee all phases of civil construction projects, ensuring they're completed safely, on time, and on budget. You will:
β Analyze project plans and specifications to define scopes of work
β Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources
β Coordinate project teams, including field crews, subcontractors, and vendors
β Schedule labor, equipment, and materials to maximize efficiency
β Lead project meetings and communicate with clients, engineers, and inspectors
β Troubleshoot issues and manage risks proactively
What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
β Project Management experience in heavy highway, road, or civil construction with INDOT or ODOT projects required
β Strong leadership and the ability to manage multiple projects and teams
β Solid understanding of construction documents, drawings, and specifications
β Budget, scheduling, and project performance analysis skills
β Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
β Tech skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project); familiarity with software like Bluebeam, OnStation, or ITAP is a plus
β A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites (within a 125-mile radius)
You will also bring:
β’ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field peferred
β’ 5-8 years of relevant project management experience required
