Supply Chain Manager Edinburg, PA
Our manufacturing Client boasts a collaborative culture and needs a strong Supply Chain/Procurement leader to support its critical and growing site!
Key Duties:
- Work safely and actively support safety culture and programs.
- Coordinate all aspects of the supply chain: planning, sourcing, manufacturing and delivery.
- Execute sourcing strategy to meet customer demand, reduce costs and lower risk.
- Drive CI to reduce lead-times, inventory and supply chain costs.
- Foresee potential global and market disruptions/ establish effective mitigation responses.
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and resolve any issues to prevent disruptions.
- Track delivery performance trends, initiating root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers and internal customers to ensure quality/efficiency.
- Participate in supplier selection and audits as required.
- Lead teams as assigned and participate with teams as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, Supply Chain preferred
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management etc. preferred
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience performing supply chain duties
- Prior experience with the metal industry supply chain strongly preferred
- Knowledge of the Vanadium, Aluminum and Molybdenum markets strongly preferred
- Knowledge of import and export requirements strongly preferred
- Project management experience preferred
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and six sigma strongly preferred
- Strong quality and customer focus
- Leadership and collaborative, communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational/planning skills, coupled with self-motivation/sense of
- Good problem-solving skills meshed with a thirst for knowledge
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Open to 25% travel, domestic and internationally
