Job Summary
Provide financing calculations as well as proactive options and recommendations primarily in support of the internal sales team. Develop and support the processes and systems to administratively support the leasing and financing of equipment. Facilitate the ordering, transferring, tracking, and reporting of select lines of equipment for the company. Provide supplementary support in the areas of inventory analysis and sales processing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Accurately calculate loan and lease payments and facilitate equipment financing
-Communicate and build relationships with a variety of financial institutions (i.e. John Deere Financial, AgDirect, Credit Unions, etc.)
-Complete Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filing/searches and title work
-Assist with tracking of loan and lease funding and lease maturities
-Produce and review financing documentation (i.e. loan documentation, title applications, contracts, and dealer promotions)
- Follow ordering plans at the direction of Sales Manager to ensure company receives maximum discounts
-Order select short-line products and manage inventory on a first in first out basis
-Respond to internal and external inquiries on potential equipment transfers, partner with various team members to process applicable requests in a timely manner
-Support equipment inventory analysis and reporting, and equipment inventory audits
-Work with manufacturers to address issues or discrepancies on orders (i.e. shortages & warranties)
-Coordinate equipment delivery with transportation department and Van Wall locations
-Responsible for invoice and sales reporting while maintaining accurate inventory records
-Other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, finance, accounting or related field required
-Knowledge of agricultural and turf equipment strongly preferred
-Minimum of 1 year experience in a relatable role or industry
-Proficiency with lending & leasing regulations and disclosures
-Basic understanding and knowledge of cash flow and financial statements
-Experience using dealer business systems and other finance applications preferred
-Exceptional communication skills with roles at all levels within the organization
-Displayed proficiency in Microsoft Office and various reporting software
