Job Title: LaborerPrimary Purpose:Perform general labor tasks in and around the plant, including shops, offices, and yard areas, in support of production, shipping, maintenance, and facility upkeep. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in loading, unloading, and moving materials, parts, and finished products throughout the facility.
- Clean materials and products and help prepare, package, and bundle items for shipment.
- Support machine operators with basic tasks such as punching and shearing material.
- Perform simple, repetitive shearing of angles under established procedures and setups.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the plant, including janitorial and general clean-up duties.
- Perform grounds maintenance as needed (e.g., mowing, clearing debris).
- Understand and adhere to all Acrow's policies and applicable laws
- Perform other duties as required
Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions (indoors/outdoors).
- Ability to follow safety rules and work instructions.
- Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is preferred but not required.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED and 0-2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, skills and experience
Working Conditions:
- Work is typically performed in a warehouse and yard environment which requires proper safety precautions. Work requires some physical effort in the handling of materials, boxes, or equipment. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- All work-related safety gear will be provided by the company
