DescriptionThe Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician (FSQA) - New Oxford Facility provides monitoring and guidance for food regulatory, food safety, and quality assurance initiatives while reinforcing our Sandridge Core Values. The FSQA Technician works under the direction of the New Oxford FSQA Manager to support the Company's standards for product quality and integrity.Compensation
- Starting hourly wage of $19.06 to $24.72 based on the Candidate's combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities•Provide guidance for specific USDA/FSIS & FDA Regulations applicable to the production of Ready-to-Eat Fresh Salads and Entres (HACCP, SSOP, Net Weights, & Pre-requisite Programs).•Perform daily pre-operational facility and equipment sanitation inspections.•Implement quality assurance techniques and programs that assure finished product 100% First Time Quality (i.e. raw material and finished product organoleptic testing, process control audits, and laboratory analytical testing - titratable acidity, pH, and moisture evaluations).•Periodic interaction with the on-site Regulatory USDA/FSIS Inspectors.•Review for accuracy and completeness daily documents generated during the production processes and procedures.•Provide food safety and quality assurance guidance and support for all external multi-functional departments.•Fosters continuous improvement efforts.QualificationsRequired Qualifications•Authorized to work in the United States of America•High School Diploma or GED required.•Ability to effectively read, legibly write, and speak the English language.•High attention to detail and demonstrated verbatim compliance with policies, procedures, and practices.•Willingness to satisfactorily complete both a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug screen.Preferred Qualifications•Associate's Degree or greater in any discipline with highest consideration for concentrations in Culinary Arts, Food Nutrition, Food Science, or Microbiology.•Previous experience in a food service or food manufacturing facility.•HACCP Certificate - Supported by the International Alliance (USDA Products).•ServSafe Certification.•Ability and willingness to work 1st or 2nd Shift (as requested).•Ability and willingness to work overtime (when required).
