Position Summary: The Part-Time Bookkeeper supports our Controller and accounting team in performing essential bookkeeping and accounting tasks, while also providing backup support for payroll and other financial operations. This position plays a vital role in ensuring financial accuracy and helping GTI deliver on its mission. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process sales orders and invoices
- Record inventory assemblies and reconcile monthly inventory
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations
- Manage accounts receivable and assist with accounts payable
- Provide backup support for payroll processing
- Perform other assigned bookkeeping tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma with a minimum of 4 years' experience in general business operations, office management, accounting, or bookkeeping
- OR an Associate of Arts degree in business
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and general accounting software
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus
- Experience with ADP Payroll systems is a strong plus
- Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines with accuracy
- Must pass a background check
