Job DetailsJob LocationGibault, Inc - Terre Haute, INPosition TypePart TimeEducation LevelHigh SchoolSalary Range$17.00 HourlyJob ShiftDayDescriptionThis is a seasonal position that performs general and varied grounds keeping, gardening, and maintenance work.Implement the decisions of your immediate supervisor or managers within your chain of command.Provide a positive role model for the client s at all times through appearance, attitude, and behavior.Exhibit sensitivity to the clients' cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.Attend all in-services, General Staff Meetings, and meetings called by their supervisor.Work harmoniously and effectively with co-workers.Accomplish objectives and consistently produce satisfactory work.Is faithful in reporting to work, staying on the job, and helping to meet institutional emergencies.Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.Comply with department guidelines, the Organization and Personnel Guidelines, and all expectations set by Gibault's administration.Mow, edge, fertilize, and trim lawns; plant, cultivate, prune, spray flowers and trees; hoe weeds; mulch leaves; sweep walks; install or sod new lawns; and pick up debris.Operate equipment such as tractor, truck, weed whip, mower, boom truck, blower, power pressure sprayer, chain saw, and other equipment used in grounds maintenance work.Operate a boom truck to trim, remove, raise, and/or top dead or dangerous trees, limbs, etc.Assist with and perform general grounds maintenance duties involved in repairing fences; haul sand, dirt, and mulch; etc.Assist in the selection of flowers, trees, shrubs, ground cover, and other materials.Perform all other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequirements:Completed High School diploma or GED certificate.Possession of a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.Submit to and pass required background checks.Gibault is an Equal Opportunity Employer
