POSITION OVERVIEW

Biocodexis seeking an ambitious Associate Brand Manager who is passionate about building brands by finding and leveraging insights to drive actionable results. You'll play an integral role alongside a small, entrepreneurial team passionate about health & wellness and responsible for taking the US Florastor Probiotics brand to the next level.

Focused on turning insights into activation, the Associate Brand Manager will help support the development and execution of the strategy and consumer engagement to achieve our vision of becoming a Microbiota leader. The ideal candidate will have a curious and analytical mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, thrive in a digital environment, and be a strong team player.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Associate Brand Manager will be responsible for assisting with accelerating the growth of our flagship brand, Florastor. This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Innovation and will be an integral part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Brand Manager in the development and implementation of the annual integrated marketing plan to define strategic objectives, key initiatives and financial targets
  • Lead the brand's monthly sales and consumption forecast, liaise with cross-functional partners and represent the brand team in S&OP meetings to support a consensus forecast, while identifying risks and opportunities to Plan
  • Interpret syndicated data sources (e.g. Nielsen, advertising intel, etc.) and competitive landscaping to lead the monthly performance reviews to assess Digestive Supplements category, segments, classes of trade, brand/innovation, and competitive performance to recommend actionable business insights that optimize go-to-market priorities
  • Partner with agencies (advertising, PR, promotions, design, e-commerce, and market research) to execute the brand plan and creative campaigns
  • Lead brand's consumer promotion strategy, optimizing based on performance
  • Support Customer Strategy & Planning in the design and delivery of the annual customer playbook, reflecting key marketing initiatives and identifying Shopper Marketing opportunities, while partnering with Sales to support retail activation
  • Partner with Digital and e-Commerce teams to lead national marketing and brand identity online adaptation, creating consistent, omnichannel brand experiences
  • Support Finance/Supply Chain's portfolio management and serve as Lead on renovation projects and commercial packs
  • Own brand's marketing advertising & promotions budget reconciliation and planning to continuously improve P&L profitability
  • Partner with Brand Manager on innovation launch plans and activation (focus on omni-channel consumer touchpoints)
  • Additional duties & responsibilities as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Marketing or related field
  • 3-5 years' work experience, including 1-3 years' experience in brand marketing

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA preferred
  • FMCG/CPG/OTC experience strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical acumen, proficiency in Nielsen or IRI preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Creativity and problem-solving
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Digitally savvy
  • Detail-oriented and ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Results oriented with proven track record of success
