Electrical Engineer with Security Clearance

Electrical Engineer Lexington, MA Active Secret Clearance preferred Required Skills:- Develop, design, and drive system and unit level electrical interconnection and power distribution schemes in collaboration with multidisciplinary project teams- Prepare design concepts, block diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, cable/harness fabrication drawings utilizing 2D and 3D CAD (Computer Aided Design) software- Perform basic design calculations, and select appropriate components and hardware- Support part procurement, fabrication, and system level integration while reporting and maintaining program milestones Preferred Skills:- Possess knowledge of electronic design for aerospace applications, including connector selection, wire types/sizes/derating, voltage drops, electro-mechanical packaging, electrical fabrication, and assembly techniques.- Possess knowledge of NASA, Military, ASME, and IEEE standards and specifications- Competency in SolidWorks and/or Zuken E3- Possess knowledge of PDM (Product Data Management) and/or PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software Education:- BS in Electrical Engineering, or BS or Associates Degree in Engineering discipline plus 5 years of relevant experience in electrical interconnection design
