Withum's is growing and we're looking to add a dedicated Utilization (Resource Management) Associate to the team! In this role, you will help ensure that we create positive staff experiences, while helping the Not-for-Profit and Outsourced Accounting teams continue to provide the best client service. You'll work closely with partners, managers and staff as we continue to grow the firm across Withum's geographic locations.

How You'll Spend Your Time:

  • Collaborating with the industry leader and client engagement teams to understand their client needs and drive consistency across geographic locations focused on financial metrics and efficiency
  • Generating and reviewing scheduling, utilization and forecasting reports and provide analysis of the data that assists regional leadership in making staffing decisions
  • Providing various forms of analysis including financial, profitability and exception reporting
  • Monitoring productivity, conflicts, leverage, availability, travel and non-chargeable hours
  • Analyzing schedules to ensure staff are effectively utilized and facilitating necessary adjustments ensuring the alignment of resources
  • Facilitating scheduling meetings as needed, administering and participating in scheduling system and process assimilation and orientation programs for incoming new hires.
  • Implementing and collaborating on the development of strategies for engagement management and scheduling processes incorporating regional and functional requirements and priorities (financial, capacity, resources/FTES, growth plans, etc.)
  • Maintaining workforce planning and collaborating with leaders, finance, India coordinators and HR on variances
  • Initiating, developing and maintaining communication with internal clients to be their trusted advisor; adapting the expectations for timeliness, responsiveness, accuracy, service quality, thoroughness and sense of urgency
  • Participating in talent development meetings, providing candid feedback based on interactions, understanding individuals goals for future rotation opportunities, assignments, industry exposure, etc.
  • Utilizing, sharing and developing best practices, staying up to date on market trends and upgrades of scheduling technology offerings for effectiveness

The Kinds of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of The Following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR or Accounting
  • Resource Management or Project Management Certifications preferred
  • At least 2 years of relevant scheduling experience in a professional services environment required
  • Ability to facilitate discussions regarding resource management, utilization and gap analysis
  • Strong Microsoft office skills with an emphasis on Excel
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to understand and juggle competing priorities
  • A team player personality with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and be flexible in a constantly changing work environment

The compensation for this position ranges from $85,00-$105,000. In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
