He/she/they will live at the forefront of using data to answer partners' business questions and develop relevant plans to drive growth based on partner priorities and launches. Close collaboration with merchandising and channel partners is critical to ensure that the proposed plans align with the merchandising and marketing strategies set in place by BSG. Analytical rigor, understanding, optimization, and taking action on meaningful marketing metrics for brand partners are critical to the position. This position is a hybrid role, reporting into the Denton office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, working remotely the rest of the week.

Primary Functions:

  • Build and lead relationships with brand partners across BSG.
  • Develop annual marketing plans based on brand priorities and launches, acting as the main liaison between brand partners and internal BSG functions such as merchandising, marketing (social, digital/paid, in-store, CRM, and e-commerce).
  • Onboard new brand partners, guide them through initial setup, gather assets, review co-op agreements, and develop meaningful marketing metrics.
  • Create data-driven annual co-op marketing plans to help brand partners achieve their goals; present and sell these plans internally and externally.
  • Ensure co-op pricing and costs meet expectations of brand partners and internal teams.
  • Integrate marketing plans into internal processes and calendars for seamless execution.
  • Approve co-op agreements and collaborate with finance to ensure proper allocation of co-op funds.
  • Lead quarterly brand partner meetings.
  • Manage projects and foster growth in the brand partner program.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful rollout of marketing plans aligned with brand priorities.
  • Identify and implement new ideas to grow brand partner plans and drive revenue, maintaining exclusivity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience in integrated marketing, category marketing, brand marketing, merchandising, or brand partnerships within a retail environment.
  • Experience in building marketing plans and understanding marketing strategies.
  • Proficient in marketing and creative brief writing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management and planning abilities.
  • Proven leadership with strong stakeholder partnerships.
  • Understanding of marketing technology, project management systems, and digital marketing calendars is a plus.
  • Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Customer-centric, brand stewardship mindset.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to navigate complexity.
  • Proactive with leadership qualities and good judgment.
  • Dependable and resourceful.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
