Mets Summer Camps Early Childhood Teacher

Join us as an Early Childhood Teacher at Mets Baseball & Softball Camps. This role involves making a positive impact on youth through sports, games, and recreational activities during the summer.

Position Details

Pay Range: $17.00/hr - $20.00/hr (based on experience and skills)

Location: Various sites including Fairfield, Stamford, Port Chester, and Brooklyn among others

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment for campers aged 4-12
• Supervise and counsel campers, using positive discipline
• Implement the Mets Camps curriculum under supervision
• Provide feedback during activities and highlight learning moments
• Collaborate with team members to uphold camp standards

Qualifications

• Availability for a 3-5 week commitment, Monday to Friday, approximately 8 hours/day
• Reliable transportation to various sites
• Background screening clearance
• Child management experience and basic baseball knowledge
• Enrolled in or pursuing an early childhood education degree

Additional Details

Participate in an interview process including a virtual interview and potential site visits. Compensation varies: $20/hour for professional educators with teaching experience or certification, $17/hour for students pursuing teaching credentials.
