Your tasks
- Assisting our graphic design department with upcoming titles, design, and packaging concepts.
- Typesetting, and continuation of layouts based on sample pages.
- Working with the Adobe suit, such as InDesign scripts to edit the content, formatting, and graphics of books.
- Coordinating with the editing and prepress department in the evaluation and implementation of content and graphic corrections.

- Strong interest and knowledge in design, typography, art, art history, photography, architecture, pop culture, travel and fashion – the foundations of our publishing program.
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated (BA or MA) in Fine Art, Graphics or Design.
- Confident with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Clear visual language.
- Unique and personal sense of design.
- Enjoy keeping updated on trends and design.
- Independent, structured and team-oriented way of working and strong interpersonal skills.

Compensation for this role is expected to be between $37,500 and $42,000, excluding commissions. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.#J-18808-Ljbffr
