The Systems Engineer performs on-site installation, utilization, and maintenance of computer network-connected imaging devices. They should be comfortable working independently and possess excellent communication skills. In this role, Systems Engineers must complete high-level diagnostics connected to multi-functional devices, scanners, and printers, as well as related software drivers and utilities. The primary duties and responsibilities include:

• Extensive daily travel to customer locations.
• Effective time management and prioritization of customer service requests.
• Diagnose routine system failures using established procedures and perform application and network installations.
• Maintain high integrity and discretion with customer service issues.
• Troubleshoot computer networking and connectivity appliances and devices.
• Install new equipment and resolve customer service requests with minimal supervision.
• Complete assigned tasks or escalate unresolved issues to supervision and follow through to resolution.
• Support administration, sales, logistics, hardware personnel, and train end users to meet customer needs.
• Maintain professionalism and manage customer perception positively.
• Collaborate with IT staff to ensure customer satisfaction (aiming for 100%).
• Proficient in Microsoft-based operating systems, including Windows, MAC, Linux server, and Android devices.
• Update knowledge on existing products and participate in training programs, including manufacturer and on-the-job training.

The qualifications and required skills include:

• High School Diploma, Associate's degree, or 2-4 years related experience or training.
• High level of customer service and ability to relate to individuals at all levels.
• Manage service calls effectively, even when they require more time.
• Diagnose and resolve problems based on non-technical customer descriptions.
