Job Description :

The successful Port Ambassador will drive revenue opportunities at the ticket booth and surrounding areas by engaging potential guests and increasing on-site ticket and merchandise sales, as well as other partner opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate walk-up sales at the ticket booth and nearby high foot traffic areas.
  • Persuade guests to purchase tickets, merchandise, and other available sales opportunities.
  • Quickly recover from refusals, engaging as many potential guests as possible.
  • Upsell higher-value items to guests, including existing customers.
  • Run sales reports for supervisor review and commission processing.
  • Oversee ticket booth presentation, including appearance and staff professionalism.
  • Monitor guest engagement, ensuring positive interactions and proper guest recognition.
  • Address guests by name and acknowledge special occasions.
  • Explain products, services, prices, and answer guest questions.
  • Collect outstanding balances and payment vouchers from third-party reservations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Requirements & Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • At least 1 year of customer service experience in a direct selling role.
    • Previous sales experience preferred, especially in B2C settings.
    • Cash handling experience preferred.
    • Strong customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Effective communication skills, including listening and assessing situations.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Availability for nights, weekends, and major holidays.
    Additional Information:

    Salary: $20 per hour plus commission

    Part-time, Seasonal position
