**Description:** Sources, negotiates, and purchases machinery, equipment, tools, raw materials, packaging materials, parts, services, and supplies necessary for the operation of an organization. Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine the feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives. Monitors supplier performance and keeps informed on price trends and manufacturing processes. Evaluates opportunities to leverage material acquisitions. Negotiates with suppliers, analyzes supplier operations to determine factors affecting prices, and ensures lowest cost while maintaining quality, reliability, and schedule adherence. Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, tracks orders, verifies delivery, approves payments, and maintains records. May prepare RFPs and bid packages.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience/education
• Procurement/buying experience
• SAP experience
• Ability to manage high-volume purchase requirements and related supply chain tasks independently
• Highly organized and customer service focused
• Ability to work independently in a virtual environment
