Join Casey's Construction Team as a Site Development ManagerAre you passionate about shaping the built environment and leading projects from concept to completion? Casey's is seeking a Site Development Manager with a strong architectural background to oversee the planning, design, and execution ofour replacement and remodel store projects. In this role, you'll be the architectural liaison across internal and external teams, ensuring that every site reflects Casey's design standards, complies with regulatory requirements, and is delivered on time and within scope.Key Responsibilities:* Architectural Oversight: Lead the architectural vision for each site, ensuring that design intent aligns with Casey's brand standards and operational goals. Manage the production and review of site plans, building elevations, and construction documents.* Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee development projects from signed LOI through permitting, construction, store opening, and closeout. Ensure architectural and engineering deliverables are integrated and aligned throughout.* Design Coordination: Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and consultants to produce cohesive site and building designs. Review and approve architectural drawings, ensuring code compliance and constructability.* Permitting & Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate all permitting documents including site plans, and architectural plans. Attend or delegate attendance at city meetings to support project approvals.* Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the architectural point of contact for internal teams (Legal, Real Estate, Construction, Operations) and external partners (consultants, city officials, utility companies).* Due Diligence & Site Analysis: Lead the architectural review of Site Investigation Reports (SIRs), identifying design constraints and opportunities. Drive resolution of issues through thoughtful design solutions.* Schedule & Budget Management: Maintain project timelines using Projectmates and Smartsheets or similar tools. Manage construction bidding processes and ensure architectural scope is clearly defined and competitively priced.* Documentation & Reporting: Ensure all architectural and development documentation is accurate, complete, and archived. Oversee execution of development agreements and closeout procedures.Compensation:Starting pay range: $74,200 - $97,300. Actual pay may vary based on Casey's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance. Come be a part of a company that is growing, transforming and is here for good!* Bachelor's degree in a closely related field (engineering, architecture, construction, etc.), or equivalent work-related experience required.* At least five years of experience in related field such as construction, engineering, architecture, or development.* Architecture, building design, or retail construction experience preferred.* Experience obtaining permits from City, DOT, State, County, Health, and other authorities for development activities.* Effective negotiation skills and experience providing solutions to complex problems under pressure.
