Job Details- Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
- Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
- Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
- Requires an associate's degree and certification as a registered nurse.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within rehabilitation nursing.
Job Requirements- 1+ years' experience required
- BLS required
- ACLS & PALS preferred
Schedule Information- Nights, 6:30p-7a
- Call & floating required
Unit Specific Information- Rehab unit with 10 beds
- Patient ratio 1:5
Additional Details- FINGERPRINTS FOR ALL NM TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED
- Patient Ratio: 1:5
- Number of beds in unit: 10 beds
- Blocked Scheduling may be accommodated, must include in body of submittal
- 48-hr. Guarantees are NOT approved
