Exciting new community recreation ministry! God has led us to use our gym for children's basketball & indoor soccer (futsal), co-ed volleyball, and adult basketball, plus day camps for kids. All for the purpose of evangelism & discipleship - following the Great Commission of Jesus Christ!
We have a great location just off I-85, across from Troup HS, and catercornered from Lafayette Christian School. LaGrange is a very family-oriented community, but many are still lost & unchurched. This will be a tremendous opportunity to reach people for Christ!
The ideal candidate will be a dedicated follower of Jesus and have a passion to reach children & their families through sports ministry. Skills to organize leagues, schedules, & summer camps are essential. The candidate should be humble & friendly with strangers and outgoing enough to tenaciously pursue people to be involved.
The goal is to begin in fall 2022, with the possibility of conducting camps this summer if the right person comes on board soon enough.
