Make a difference. Be happy. Grow your career.Provide consulting services to clients on healthcare enabling technology related projects in an analyst, subject matter expert or training capacity. Work directly with the Practice Director and/or Practice Manager and Consulting Services Team to enable sales opportunities, support solution development, and provide exceptional on-site solution delivery based upon the needs of Healthtech clients.Healthtech, a Nordic Global Company based in Canada, delivers healthcare organizations with strategic advisory, clinical transformation, implementation solutions, and application support services for over 40 years.Our practice at Healthtech encompasses Advisory, Clinical Transformation, and Implementation services, allowing us to support clients across the full lifecycle—from strategic planning and project management to change management, system design, training, Go-Live support, and post-implementation optimization.As a Consultant, you'll be part of a collaborative, cross-functional team dedicated to helping clients with:

  • Conducting comprehensive analyses of operational performance to uncover inefficiencies and recommend targeted solutions aimed at improving service delivery, patient access, and clinical outcomes across healthcare settings.
  • Translating high-level strategic objectives into actionable implementation plans by guiding operational redesign efforts, identifying change readiness factors, and facilitating stakeholder engagement throughout transformation initiatives.
  • Participating in the development of clinical service and diagnostic planning strategies that are responsive to health authority directives and aligned with broader provincial or regional healthcare priorities.
  • Collaborating and building trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including clinical leaders (physicians, nursing, pharmacy), administrative teams, and executive leadership, to ensure alignment and buy-in across all levels of the organization.
  • Supporting the implementation, integration, and continuous optimization of clinical information systems—including Epic, Oracle Health, and MEDITECH and other EMR vendor platforms—by aligning system capabilities with clinical workflows and organizational goals.
  • Effectively managing competing priorities and shifting demands in a fast-paced, client-facing environment by applying strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as healthcare administration, public health, life sciences, business, engineering, or a related discipline is required.
  • Relevant professional experience in healthcare, consulting, or system transformation is strongly valued and may be considered in lieu of advanced academic credentials, depending on the role.
  • A master's degree—such as an MHA, MBA, MPH, or equivalent—is considered a strong asset, particularly when it demonstrates enhanced specialization, leadership capability, or depth in healthcare systems and operations.
Additional Qualifications
  • Understanding of the Canadian healthcare landscape, including system structures, governance models, and the roles of provincial ministries and health authorities.
  • Exposure to clinical information systems such as Epic, Oracle Health, MEDITECH, or other EMR platforms, particularly in contexts involving clinical workflow design, system implementation, or optimization.
  • French language proficiency is considered a strong asset, especially in bilingual client environments.
  • Residence in British Columbia, Quebec, or Nova Scotia is preferred, given the regional nature of certain client engagements and the value of local system familiarity.
  • Experience working with or supporting Indigenous communities or organizations is considered a significant asset, particularly where it supports culturally safe, community-informed care and system transformation initiatives.
