The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while effectively managing subcontractors and maintaining compliance with safety regulations.Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain project reports, including daily logs, progress updates, and budget tracking.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, and engineers to address any issues and implement solutions.
- Ensure that all construction work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist in the development and management of project schedules and work plans.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in construction, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects, including office buildings, retail, healthcare, warehouses/distribution centers, process plants, etc.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
