Business Development Director - Life Sciences

Based in the Western United States, preferably Denver, this strategic role involves driving revenue growth, building key relationships, and leading a dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the life sciences sector within the Western US region. Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to inform strategy.Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the industry. Leverage existing relationships to drive business growth and secure new contracts.Qualify leads and manage the pipeline from prospecting through to contract award. Collaborate with technical teams to shape proposals and value propositions specific to life sciences.Develop strategic partnerships with service providers, technology firms, and consultants within the industry.Coordinate with marketing, engineering, and project teams to ensure alignment and market feedback for service development.Provide sales forecasts and performance reports, monitor KPIs, and update CRM systems accordingly.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years in business development within life sciences, with a proven track record as a rainmaker.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple proposals and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Unanet or similar) and business development tools.
- Relevant certifications in business development or sales management are a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Location: Based in the Western US, preferably Denver; remote work possible.
- Travel: Up to 50% travel to client sites and other locations in the Western US.
