Business Development Director - Life Sciences

Join Eichleay as a Business Development Director in Life Sciences! Based in the Western United States, preferably Denver, this strategic role involves driving revenue growth, building key relationships, and leading a dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the life sciences sector within the Western US region. Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the industry. Leverage existing relationships to drive business growth and secure new contracts.
  • Qualify leads and manage the pipeline from prospecting through to contract award. Collaborate with technical teams to shape proposals and value propositions specific to life sciences.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with service providers, technology firms, and consultants within the industry.
  • Coordinate with marketing, engineering, and project teams to ensure alignment and market feedback for service development.
  • Provide sales forecasts and performance reports, monitor KPIs, and update CRM systems accordingly.
  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
    • Minimum 10 years in business development within life sciences, with a proven track record as a rainmaker.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple proposals and work under pressure.
    • Proficiency in CRM software (Unanet or similar) and business development tools.
    • Relevant certifications in business development or sales management are a plus.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Location: Based in the Western US, preferably Denver; remote work possible.
    • Travel: Up to 50% travel to client sites and other locations in the Western US.
