ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary

• This position performs a wide variety of technical and manual tasks in the Operating Room under the direction of Surgical Services.
• In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health, the Operating Room SPD Technician is a professional who assumes responsibility and accountability for his/her contribution toward the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients and their families.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time experience as a central service technician.
• Six months experience in processing and assembly of surgical instruments.
• Experience requirement may be waived for individuals who have successfully completed a Central Services Technician (CST) externship at Sequoia Hospital.
• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Central Service Technician certification by a recognized Central Service Organization.
• CT, CST, or CT SPT required.

Pay Range$41.61 - $50.09 /hour
