Our Sustainable Operations service line partners with companies to develop and implement ESG/decarbonization performance and EHS operational excellence programs, transforming potential ESG, climate, and EHS risks into brand differentiators.

We see significant growth opportunities across North America in Sustainable Operations and are seeking experienced and forward-thinking EHS and ESG professionals to join as client-facing Partners and become shareholders in a sustainability-driven business. We desire established leaders with strong consulting, business development skills, and a solid technical foundation in EHS, decarbonization, and ESG who have led high-performing teams to deliver exceptional services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster, expand, and leverage client relationships within sectors like power, technology, chemical, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and diversified energy.
• Develop new and expand existing client relationships through strategic consulting and high-quality service delivery.
• Enhance our energy efficiency and decarbonization services in North America, leveraging and expanding capabilities.
• Grow our teams in energy efficiency and decarbonization implementation by attracting and developing talent.
• Drive business growth through recruitment and leadership development.
• Support the development of complex and challenging projects globally.

We are open to candidates across North America, especially in metropolitan Chicago, Boston, New York, Detroit, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, and Cleveland.

The Opportunity:

This is a Partner-level role for a Principal/Director/VP-level professional seeking career advancement with an equity stake. ERM offers:

Qualifications:

• BSc/MS in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years in consulting, leading energy efficiency and decarbonization projects globally.
• Recognized technical expertise and local marketplace reputation.
• Strong business acumen and proven sales success.

Expected annual base pay ranges from $150,000 to $165,000 USD, based on various factors. Bonus eligibility varies. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, parental leave, and more.
